This 111.5 foot by 35 foot twin screw towboat was purchased by Parker Towing Company, Inc. in July, 1989 and re-named in honor of Miss. Alison Haun, granddaughter of the Company's founder, Captain Tim Parker, Sr. Built in 1975 by Scully Bros. Boat Builders, Stephensville, La., it was re-powered in 1978 with two 12 cylinder General Motors E.M.D. model 645E2 diesel engines, delivering 2,800 horse power through REINTJES reduction gears.
Originally named the TERRY K. when owned by Bunge Towing, Inc. of Greenville, Mississippi, it was repowered with it's present engines in 1978. It is presently in service on the Warrior-Tombigbee, Tenn-Tom, Tennessee, Ohio, Upper and Lower Mississippi, Intracoastal East Waterways and Mobile Bay.
