This 60 foot by 22 foot twin screw towboat was purchased by Parker Towing Company, Inc. in January, 1988. Built in 1977 by Thrift Shipbuilding & Repair, Sulpur, LA., it is powered by two 16 cylinder GENERAL MOTORS model 16V-71 diesel engines, delivering 1,000 horse power through 7 to 1 TWIN DISC reduction gears. It bears it's original name in honor of Mrs. Jodie Parker, wife of it's original owner, Mr. "Dick" Parker who was a brother of Parker Towing Company's founder Captain Tim Parker, Sr. It is presently in shifting service in Mobile, Alabama
